LINCOLN IN THE BARDO won the Man Booker Prize as the best English language work of fiction. It is George Saunders' first novel, and a unique look at the tragedy of President Abraham Lincoln's loss of his young son Willie. The format and story line is displayed in a form invented by the brilliant Saunders.

THIS COPY (shown below) was hand signed on the title page by George Saunders at the store. It is a new, unread first edition opened only for signing and comes with a certificate authenticating the signature. Published in February, 2017, 2013 by Random House, an imprint of Penguin Random House.

GEORGE SAUNDERS (pictured below from our Wall of Fame) is on Time's list of the one hundred most influential people in the world. In addition to his numerous writing awards, he's at the top of the Booksmith's list of the nicest and most generous big-time writers in the world. Thank you George Saunders for signing our books.
